    Abstract
The WI DNR is in the process of updating the Bass Management Plan. The original plan was developed in 2001. Major components of the plan update are to gather public input, incorporate contemporary data, and accommodate management direction changes. This presentation will discuss the various parts of the Bass Management Plan and provide you information on how to have your input heard. The plan is wide ranging, covering life history, fisheries community dynamics, historic stocking practices, fishing regulation options, angler preferences, bass fishing tournaments and more. The focus of the presentation will be to provide an overview of the bass management plan structure and provide attendees with information regarding the public input mechanisms so they can help shape the updated bass management plan in WI.
