    Abstract
Teaching and learning with digital technologies is a complex matter in today’s P-12 classrooms. As we continue to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers must make sense of the shifting landscape of what daily teaching and learning looks like, considering matters of accessibility, authenticity, and real-world connectedness. Being literate is more nuanced and multifaceted with consideration for digital literacies and literacies across different, yet interconnected, academic disciplines. What is means to ‘know’ and ‘learn’ is being redefined in real time as generative artificial intelligence development and uptake across seemingly all sectors of our global society progresses. I am pleased to share the results of my students’ review of current literature and discourse focused on issues and topics that align with their specific teacher education programs of study. For this firsti ssue of Digital Touchpoints, a total of 23 students elected to publish their work, which has been organized in two thematic sections.Section 1, titled “Praxis,” includes works focused on matters of digital pedagogy and classroom practice, while Section 2, “Intent,” features works that dig into the ethics, philosophies, and policies that undergird technology integration. -- Dr. Aaron R. Gierhart
