    Abstract
Simultaneous 96-h static acute toxicity tests were conducted exposing fathead minnows (Pimephales promelas Rafinesque) to aged and non-aged silver test solutions. Toxicity tests consisted of exposing test organisms to aged test solutions with one group fed and the other not fed; and non-aged test solutions with one group fed and the other not fed. The four acute tests generated independent LCSO values at 4, 8, 24, 48, 72 and 96 h of exposure to silver.
