    Abstract
    During Grandparents University, Renewable Energy Studies Major, Ari Bahat, age 13, interviews her grandfather, Jerry Fenske, about how his relationship with energy has changed since his childhood. Fenske shares his intense curiosity about renewable energy upon learning about it, awareness of how transitioning to renewables has the ability to either exacerbate or ameliorate societal issues, and belief in mindful energy use. This interview was collected in collaboration with the Wisconsin Energy Institute (WEI) and is housed within the Oral History Program at the UW-Madison Archives.
