dc.description.abstractThe World Health Organization defines telepractice as the use of electronic information and telecommunication technologies to support and promote long-distance clinical health care, patient and professional health-related education, public health and health administration (World Health Organization, n.d.). Telepractice has the potential to provide individuals with access to care they may not otherwise be able to receive using traditional measures in the field of speechlanguage pathology. Despite evidence supporting it as a beneficial service delivery model, some clients face barriers when seeking telepractice for speech-language pathology.en_US
