The purposes of this study was to measure sleep practices and attitudes about sleep in preschool age children in a Montessori classroom. The researcher interviewed and observed 19 children from a class of 28 students and implemented a sleep education curriculum in their classroom to all 28 students. The children's parents completed a survey about their children's sleep practices and gathered data about their children's sleep patterns via a sleep log. The scope of this research produced varying results. While parent surveys showed little change over the course of the study, child interviews and researcher observations showed minor positive changes over the course of the study. The scope of the study did not allow for a more detailed look at sleep patterns, nor did it allow for a more immersive education curriculum.en_US
