Disagreement in a Remote Course on Race, Class, and Language
Abstract
For the Spring 2021 semester, UWEC offered the course ENGL 325 “Race, Language, and Class in the US” as a virtual remote class. The social annotation platform, Perusall, was utilized as a way for students to annotate and discuss the assigned readings. This project aimed to look at how students interact with the assigned text and their classmates in a remote course on language, race, and class.
