    Abstract
Trees are widely viewed by the general public and scientists as very important for the well-being of the people who reside in cities, giving a pleasant aesthetic experience for the city dwellers, as a result of colorful flowers and foliage, fragrant aromas, cooling breezes and a sense of relaxation and enjoyment as a result of the trees in the surrounding environment. The trees in our environment also help keep gases in our environment at proper levels, using carbon dioxide for photosynthesis, and keeping these levels down, as well as producing oxygen in the photosynthetic process. It is also important to keep the gaseous oxygen continuously available as it is used in the urban environment by plant and animal respiration. Also, there are other chemical processes of the Urban environment that use oxygen (such as decay of organic materials like dead organic leaves, twigs, just to name several).
