Description
Reminiscence of Ole Haugsrud (13 May 1899- 13 Mar 1976), Superior, WI businessman who owned the Duluth, MN Eskimos professional football team. Haugsrud later became part owner of the NFL's Minnesota Vikings. Haugsrud served on the UW-Superior Foundation Board from 1967-76, and the university's football stadium was named for him in 1954. Haugsrud was a 1983 recipient of the Carl Vergamini Contributions to yellowjacket Athletics Award.
