While the purpose of an annual Project report is to evaluate the accomplishments of the past year in relation to a base line, this report, because of time frame will address the Project more in terms of a narrative. At the time of the writing of this
report, the Work Plan has not received full approval of the USEPA. The Work Plan was completed on
schedule in April of this yearo However, after review by the many agencies involved, substantial
reworking of the Work Plan was indicated. This and the need for start-up of certain supplemental activities had been the reason for delay of the preparation of the final draft of the Work Plano It is anticipated that the Work Plan will be submitted for approval within the next few weeks a Conceptually the Work Plan has not changed. However, several study areas were
changed and water quality monitoring increased to over-come technical objections. We believe that most if not all questions have been addressed and that we have a sound Work Plan.
