    Abstract
Simultaneous renewal acute toxicity tests were conducted exposing fathead minnows (Pimephales promelas) to silver at three pH levels. The purpose of the tests was to determine if pH of the water affected the toxicity of silver to fish. Desired pH's of the test water were 7.9, 7.8 and 8.6 to stay within the U.S. EPA's national water quality criteria limits for pH of 6.5 to 9.0.
