    Abstract
    Field work for the Duluth-Superior Harbor Fishery Survey was initiated on 11 April. Sampling has been conducted with an electrofishing boat (generally us­ing 250 volt, 11 amp D.C. current), fyke nets {3 x6' front hoop, 40' and80' leads, 111 square mesh) seine (25' long 3/3" square mesh), and meter net (500 micron plankton nets 1 meter in diameter), Efforts have included 14 days of electrofishing, 22 trap net sets, seining a minimum of 10 stations every other week, and weekly meter net hauls in the harbor and Lake Superior (Tables 1 and 2).
