Abstract
In her 2016 interview with Pat Calchina, Anita Palmer discusses her experiences growing up in Madison, coming out as a lesbian, playing sports as a child and into adulthood, playing with lesbian sports teams, and more. Anita relays issues she has had surrounding her sexuality as well as workplace discrimination in Madison. This interview was conducted for inclusion into the LGBTQ+ UW-Madison Oral History Program.
